Approved on November 14, 2013 by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Seattle Family Regional Center is dedicated to providing quality investment opportunities to foreign investors interested in obtaining permanent residency (green cards) through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. This program is known as EB-5 for the name of the employment-based fifth preference visa that participants receive.
Congress created the EB-5 Program in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. In 1992, Congress created the Immigrant Investor Program, also known as the Regional Center Program. This sets aside EB-5 visas for participants who invest in commercial enterprises associated with regional centers approved by USCIS based on proposals for promoting economic growth.
Under this program, entrepreneurs (and their spouses and unmarried children under 21) are eligible to apply for green cards (permanent residence) if they meet certain requirements. Read more
Southport on Lake Washington is a six-phase mixed-use development project located on Seattle’s southeast - Renton, WA on the shores of Lake Washington.
Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is the 3rd phase of Southport and a USCIS Exemplar-approved EB-5 project. It has raised $100M from 200 EB-5 investors, all jobs needed for the investors’ I-829s have been created.
Our current EB-5 offering - Southport Office (phase 4) is also a USCIS Exemplar-approved project that has already received over 100 I-526 approvals. It's a well funded and construction financing secured project. Southport Office construction is currently over 70% complete.
