Hotel Construction Progress:
Exterior construction continues with upper level siding install this month. The remaining plank scaffolding at the south elevation is scheduled to come down by the end of December allowing visibility to the complete exterior façade. Metal paneling at the exterior ballroom and terrace soffits is ongoing with the ballroom nearing completion. Waterproofing at both the lower terraces and main roof is ready to be installed as the weather permits.
Interior to the building, elevators are on track to be complete in early Spring with the laundry chute completing this month. At the podium levels, the Level 1 back of house kitchen flooring and wall covering is currently being installed with additional interior finish being completed at both the fitness area and employee offices. The pool area will also begin tiling by the end of the month.
At Level 3, tile is being installed at the public restrooms with fixtures to follow. The banquet rooms have completed installation of wall board with final painting and trim to commence before end of the month. In the main ballroom, the last of the ceiling coordination is near complete with all MEP infrastructure in place and the final supports for the A/V system being installed. The guestroom floors continue interior finish construction with each level in a different state of finish based going up the Tower. Finishes include drywall, painting, tiling, and trim for each guestroom with wall covering, fixtures, and furniture to commence in early Spring.

Sitework at the east roadway adjacent to the Hotel is ongoing this month. With demolition complete, layout of curbs, sidewalks, and planters will begin. The wide sidewalks and new landscape will provide an enhanced link between the Hotel porte cochere and the waterfront.

Office Construction Progress:
The elevated concrete decks for the parking structure continue this month. Levels P0 through P2 are complete with Levels P3 and P4 to be complete by end of December for Building Tower 1 and Building Tower 2. In addition, miscellaneous structural shear walls are being poured at these buildings. At Tower3, rebar is currently being placed at the south elevator core. Pile caps are also ongoing across the Tower 3 site in preparation for the slab on grade. Rough in for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for the garage is still to follow once the concrete cures and the reshoring is removed from the slabs.

The Johns Creek bridge install has also continued this month with the bridge headwalls being installed along with the start of the landscape restoration. With the underground work complete beneath the railroad tracks, Puget Sound Energy has been able to begin pulling power cables through the conduit to feed the Office Buildings.
