Sixty Chinese Investors Visit Southport Site

Sixty business leaders from China visited Renton this past week to discuss possible investment in SECO’s Southport development. The group made the trip from Seattle by boat.

“This meeting is an opportunity to build and strengthen our relationship with our guests from China, to develop new partnerships, and welcome businesses to Southport,” said Min Christ, CEO, Seattle Family Regional Center.

Located on the shores of Lake Washington, Southport is planned to be a mix of office, retail, luxury apartments, and the Hotel at Southport, a LEED approved development in design and construction, and the only four-star hotel within eight miles of SeaTac Airport.

The Hotel at Southport is a partially funded EB5 investment project with the Seattle Family Regional Center.
